Curiously Lloyds TSB's car insurance is provided by Churchill who, as we discussed earlier, is now owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland. No claims protection is available but as Lloyds car insurance use a panel of insurers for their car insurance products the criteria, and therefore price, probably differs from one policy to another.

Lloyds car insurance offer two months free car insurance when purchasing car insurance cover and one months free car insurance each year upon renewal. The insurer also has various benefits included in its car insurance package including:

• a place to stay should you be stranded following an accident
